The cats are ready to play

I got to fire my cats yesterday. We did 3 firings and it took about 2 hours.
Here are some picstures of the process.

After bout 30 mins in the raku kiln the pieces are red hot

We put the pieces in reduction chambers with newspaper and cover them up for 15 mins.

Then we take out the pieces and clean off any areas stained by the smoke.
