...feels weird...

I was looking back through some of my old posts...damn! All these things about my "hubby" and our work and all that. Well, just to keep you updated, the hubby is gone. I am now a single-fulltime student-working mom. Yeah, its a crapload of work. But I'm managing. For now I'm at my parents' house until I'm back on my feet and can afford a little place for me and my son. But even though it's been hard, I amm happier than before. I know my posts must have seem pretty happy, but I guess I was trying to convince myself that everything was fine when it wasn't.
I dont hate him. Hate is a negative feeling that I dont want to carry around, and it takes up too much energy. Maybe one day I'll tell you what happened but for now....

My little sister... / Mi hermanita...

...she is my best friend. I miss her sooo much. I talk to her almost everyday through skype, but it's not the same.
We have completely different personalities, and sometimes get on each others nerves and want to choke the other one, but 5 mins later we'll be laughing 'til we cry.
I love her soooo much and wish she was closer.

...es mi mejor amiga. Le extra~o muchisimoo. Hablo con ella casi todo los dias por skype...pero no es igual. Tenemos personalidades completeamente diferentes, y aveces no enoamos y keremos ahorcarnos, pero 5 minutos despues estamos atacadas de la risa y ni nos acordamos del pedo.

Late Monday Moodboard... My Birthday

It's mi Bday today!!! I'm 26 and this is my first Bday as a Mommy! Last year I was preggo.

I found snails' hiding place..I get two springs this year as wells as two "Mother's Days" which will be on October 18 a day before my bday. I'm gonna miss fall this year since I won't get to see it here until next March.

The ORANGE wall

We've been staying with my in-laws since we moved to Argentina about a month ago. I love them. But soon we are finally moving to our own place, right next door. The last tenants just moved out and we've been fixing up the place so we can move in...furniture and applianceless.
Anyway, we're almost done painting the inside. Leo's room is gonna be light blue for now and I want to paing a Yellow Submarine mural for him, our room is an off-white and the living room is....thisonly one of the walls though, the others are a light gray. So I was lookin for ideas to decorate this room. I was thinking a little collection of random white things hangin somewhere, some black and white pictures with yellow frames, and an old blue cupboard or bookshelf...I dunno, what do you guys think. Someone please help!
On another note my mother-in-law is teaching me to knit, I wanted to start with something simple like a scarf but I made a square and now I want to make a throw blanket. I know its a bit hard for a first projet but I'm gonna try and see if it turns out. Here is the first piece of the blanket.
