Giveaway by Neroliskye

I stumbled upon Kim's shop "Neroliskye" and right away my attention was all her's. I love the design element in her work. The gradation of colors, the different patterns and textures and organic and geometric mix in her pieces are beautiful. I asked her to tell us a little about her and her work and this is what she had to say:

I am a designer and artist with a love for eclectic design, typography and graphics. Drawing has been something I love to do ever since I was a little girl. I doodle, sketch, draw flowers and trees all the time. I adore patterns, beautiful lines and composition
My paper art and multimedia paintings invite the viewer to experience a sense of whimsy and grace in simple geometric patterns and designs. They are full of bright colors, flowers, swirls and graduated silhouettes.


I've spent some time in architecture school and various other art related projects which have led me here. My love of graphics, paper and contemporary art influenced me to try and meld the three together to form Freshcut illustrations.


My inspiration comes from everywhere; I tend to seek it out from magazines, nature, fashion and interior design. It’s like food. I have a collection of images I collect from the web that I keep on my iphone and thumb through all the time.


I have an etsy shop that I work on part-time, and I am constantly working on improving myself and my work. I’m not a full time etsian yet, but I’m hoping to do what I love full time in the future!
